School tournaments in VOS can set Rules in Effect to BC School Sports Rules. Those events follow BC School Sports policy plus Volleyball Canada playing rules, with BCSS volleyball interpretations where they differ.

The handbook covers eligibility, seasons of play, and championship policy. Playing mechanics still come from the Volleyball Canada rulebook unless a BCSS interpretation says otherwise.
